Scott A. Wolfson is a Founder at Wolfson Bolton Kochis and serves as Practice Lead for Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy and ADR / Facilitation. Based in Troy, Michigan, Scott represents businesses, creditors, lenders, fiduciaries, and buyers and sellers of assets in complex financial distress matters—both in court and out of court—including Chapter 11 proceedings, bankruptcy litigation, receiverships, and distressed transactions.
Scott’s practice is national in scope and includes significant experience advising automotive companies and suppliers on supply chain contract issues and continuity-of-supply challenges involving distressed, non-performing, or bankrupt counterparties. He also serves as a certified mediator and a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, helping parties resolve high-stakes disputes efficiently and strategically. He is also a trusted fiduciary – for example, he served as the Liquidating Trustee of the Boyce Hydro Liquidating Trust following the devastating floods in Midland, MI and the surrounding community where he collected and distributed millions of dollars to thousands of flood survivors and creditors.
