WB attorney Adam Kochenderfer recently secured a preliminary injunction ordering a former employee of WB’s client to comply with a non-competition agreement. The former employee had joined a competitor shortly after leaving her job. WB’s client alleged that the former employee had used confidential and proprietary information, and sought an injunction barring the individual from working for the competitor. The Oakland County Circuit Court granted the requested relief within days after WB filed the motion, finding that the plaintiff was “very likely” to prevail on the merits and faced irreparable harm if the former employee’s conduct continued.
